The Platiyo concept is the new creation of Scott Harris, owner and creator of Francesca Restaurants, the Italian themed group of restaurants that includes Mia Francesca and Francesca's on Taylor. Before you visit, we thought you might enjoy reading some background on how the Platiyo concept originated. The cuisine we offer on our menu is both classic and updated preparations of the regional dishes of Mexico. Classic Oaxacan moles, braised and slow roasted meats in Yucatecan style marinades, tangy, fresh scallop seviche as served seaside on the beaches of Acapulco, are all examples of the incredible array of the flavors of Mexico that we serve. A full bar and wine list, and an extensive selection of the finest tequilas and artisanal mescals are offered. The owners and managers of Platiyo believe in the Golden Rule as it applies to our clientele, this means that we believe in treating every guest as though they are family, treating each of them, as we would wish to be treated. In general, no reasonable request made by a customer in regards to food or service will be denied, and any customer complaints or problems will be resolved to their satisfaction before they leave our establishment.
